QUILT TO BE RAFFLED AT 59th ANNUAL KENSINGTON SCHOOL SPRING CARNIVAL First Prize A Handmade Quilt Leatherneck Steakhouse
24th Annual Quilt Raffle
The Kensington Hilltop 59th Annual Spring Carnival will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at our newly renovated Hilltop School. This year's carnival promises to be a day of fun for the whole family! Back by popular demand is the PTA sponsored quilt and raffle. This year's quilt, "Wildcat Mountain", was created by a small, dedicated group of Kensington parents. Revenue generated from this fundraiser provides much needed school and classroom supplies not funded by the school district.
Tickets for the very popular quilt raffle will be available to purchase in April from students who attend Kensington Hilltop School. In addition to the quilt, other prizes from local merchants for goods and services will be awarded. Tickets will be sold for $1 each or $10 for a book of 12. Prizes will be given to the top 3 students who sell the most tickets. Classes with a 90% participation rate in the raffle will receive an ice cream party! In addition, for every 2 packets sold, your child will receive a charity wristband.
The "Wildcat Mountain" quilt will be on display beginning in April at the Kensington Hilltop School front office. In addition, look for the quilt in other locations throughout Kensington before the carnival.
If there are any questions about the quilt raffle please contact Amy Kurzer-Ogul, Quilt Raffle Chairperson at 524-6314.

The Dads Club has been part of the Kensington Hilltop School for 59 years. The main objective of the Dads Club is to enrich our children's educational experience by sponsoring and promoting extracurricular activities. Traditionally this has been accomplished by co-sponsoring the Spring Carnival and sponsoring the Fall and Spring events. We provide support to the Kensington Hilltop staff, in the form of work parties to help enhance our classroom and campus environment. The Dads Club also supports the other service organizations fund-raising efforts, such as the Garden Party. In fact, the men and women in the Dads Club contribute an estimated 700 hours annually to help make our school better for our children. Click to visit the Dads Club web page
